Doug Campbell and his wife Toots had never been afraid to roll up their sleeves for a challenge. In 1979 they saw opportunity for a heavy equipment construction company that could deliver quality work, on time and on budget. Doug Campbell Construction was born.

Doug and Toots invested in a few pieces of heavy equipment and began offering their construction services to area clients. Toots served as President and son Mark contributed to the growing company as an Officer and an Operator.

Mark took on the role of President on his father’s passing in 1996. Mark’s wife Kathy assumed the position of Controller and the busy company continued to grow. Like his father before him, Mark encouraged his son to play a role in the family business. Stephen Campbell has been part of the family company “as long has he can remember.” Like his father and grandfather, Stephen believes in hard work and has a passion for his craft and clients.

Doug Campbell Construction is truly a “family” business. Even Mark’s daughters Mandy and Christa have helped in the office and on the job site over the years.

Today Doug Campbell Construction has a small fleet of heavy equipment standing by for you. Whether you need excavation services, grading or backhoe, we have the equipment and qualified operators to assist.

Doug Campbell Construction has also grown to specialize in septic systems. We sell and install new systems, repair, maintain and upgrade older septic systems as well as inspect septic systems for potential home owners and realtors.
